For a birthday or anniversary that matters

Mark the moment. Let them make the memory.

Some occasions deserve more than another object. Give a mechanical watchmaking experience they can enjoy, complete and keep.

For a milestone birthday or an anniversary, the finished watch carries the story of the occasion—and the time they spent building it.

A hands-on Horologic watch build at a workbench
The movement arrives assembled. They bring the watch together.

Something to do. Something to keep.

The gift continues after the box is opened.

Watch components, tools and step-by-step guidance come together in one experience. The recipient assembles a real automatic watch at home, with no appointment to arrange.

Most first-time builders allow around two to three hours. They can take their time, pause between stages and ask Horologic for help.

  1. Choose for the person

Start with their style and whether they enjoy patient, precise projects.

  2. Give the experience

The automatic movement is already assembled; the recipient brings the dial, hands, case and strap together.

  3. Let the occasion stay with them

The finished watch is a wearable reminder of the occasion and the care they put into the build.

Two occasions. Your own meaning.

Let the gift say what matters to you.

For a birthday, celebrate the person they are becoming. For an anniversary, give an experience that adds a new memory to the years you share.

  1. Make a birthday about their interests

A 40th, 50th or 60th can be a reason to try something new, without assuming a particular style for that age.

  2. Keep an anniversary personal

Give the project to someone who enjoys making things; sitting beside them does not require buying a second experience.

  3. Plan the date, not a deadline for the build

Allow delivery time before the celebration. The recipient can start whenever they have the space and focus.

One experience. Their style.

Choose the character they will love wearing.

Look at the watches and clothes they already enjoy. Choose the model and available dial option when ordering; each model includes its matching strap or bracelet.

Practical answers before you give

Give with confidence.

The recipient can contact Horologic directly for personal build support. Explore the details below before choosing their gift.

Ask us about the gift →
Is this a gift for a birthday or an anniversary?

It can suit either. The useful question is whether the recipient would enjoy a careful hands-on project and wearing the finished watch. The experience is not tied to a specific age or anniversary year.

Does one purchase include two watches?

No. Each watchmaking experience contains the components for one selected watch. Two people can share the time around one build, but each person needs a separate experience to finish with their own watch.

Can I add engraving or a personalised dial?

Those services are not part of this offer. Choose the model and available dial option shown on its product page; the included hands and strap or bracelet are matched to that model.

What arrives assembled, and what do they build?

The NH35 automatic movement arrives fully assembled and the crown stem is pre-cut. They fit the dial and hands, case the movement, fit the crown and stem, close the case and attach the included strap or bracelet.

Watch components, assembly tools and step-by-step video guidance are included. They only need a clean, well-lit workspace.

What should I do about a fixed birthday or anniversary date?

Check the stated product lead time and allow delivery time in addition to dispatch. For a close deadline, contact Horologic before ordering; do not assume next-day arrival. See the Shipping Policy.

What if something goes wrong during the build?

Personal build support is available directly from Horologic. Replacement components for accidental assembly damage can be purchased separately.

Our paid fixed-price completion and repair service can take over an existing Horologic build, with necessary replacement watch components included. For a possible manufacturing defect, contact us before paying. Explore Horologic Care.

Can you send the gift internationally?

Yes. Orders are prepared in Switzerland and shipped internationally with tracking. Available destinations, shipping costs and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Destination import-charge arrangements are explained in the Shipping Policy.

Is the watch Swiss-made?

No. Horologic chooses beginner-friendly components from specialist international suppliers, including the NH35 automatic movement. Each experience is checked, prepared and packed in St-Prex, Switzerland; the recipient assembles the finished watch.
