The Sportsman combines a 40 mm stainless-steel case with sapphire crystal, an exhibition caseback, deep green bezel and stainless-steel bracelet, with your choice of black, white or green dial. The case has a 20 mm lug width and is designed for 100 m water resistance once correctly assembled and sealed.

Inside is the proven Seiko NH35 automatic movement. You assemble the watch yourself using the included components, watchmaking tools and step-by-step video guidance — no previous watchmaking experience required.
Once finished, the exhibition caseback gives you a view of the mechanical movement inside. The result is a versatile automatic watch with bold sporting character — and a story no off-the-shelf watch can match: you built it yourself.

NH35 automatic movement
Powered by a mechanical mainspring rather than a battery, the NH35 winds automatically with the movement of your wrist and can also be wound by hand.
When fully wound, it keeps running for approximately 41 hours—even when you’re not wearing it.
The movement arrives fully assembled. You fit the dial and hands, secure it inside the case, and finish a watch you’ve put together yourself.

REAL WATCH ASSEMBLY, MADE APPROACHABLE
The mechanical movement arrives fully assembled and the crown stem is already cut to the correct length. You take it from there — fitting the dial and hands, casing the movement, installing the crown, closing the case and attaching the strap or bracelet.
It's genuine watch assembly, using real watchmaking tools and components, but designed so that you can enjoy the process without previous experience.
Position the dial, find midnight and carefully install each of the three hands.
Place your completed movement into the case, refit the pre-cut crown and stem, and secure the caseback.
Attach the strap or bracelet, set the time and date, and put on a watch you assembled yourself.

Yes. The completed watch is a fully functional automatic mechanical watch powered by the NH35 movement.
No. Horologic kits are curated, inspected, packed, and shipped from Switzerland. Components are sourced internationally and include a Japanese automatic movement.
Not at all. Our kits are designed for beginners. Each kit includes detailed step-by-step instructions, and all the specialized tools you need are included in the box.
Most first-time builders take around 2–3 hours. There is no need to rush, and you can take longer or split the build across sessions.
Personal build support is available without buying a service. We can help you troubleshoot, and replacement parts remain available to purchase if you want to carry out the work yourself.
Prefer us to take over? Our paid fixed-price completion and repair service includes necessary replacement watch components, with no separate assessment fee or additional parts or labour invoice. Absolutely. Each kit arrives in premium packaging ready to gift. The recipient can contact Horologic directly for personal build support and aftercare. Where it formed part of the original purchase, the lifetime defect warranty lasts while the original purchaser or original gift recipient owns the watch; paid completion or repair is available separately.

Yes. Horologic ships internationally from Switzerland with tracking.
